Entry Penned Beginning

No, no; not for me. That title might be misleading if you didn’t know me but I don’t run for enjoyment, just never got the hang of it. If I am running it is going to be too or from something; and if it is early morning then it will be a damn important something and probably not my idea !
No it was a dear friend of mine dong a Parkrun event nearish by, so Rose and I took the opportunity to meet them after the event and get breakfast and catch up.
Although the running thing is not for me I can see the appeal, the gamification of the process and honestly the travelling to towns that you otherwise might not, and once you are there you might as well explore them.
Today was at pyramid hill, a small regional town
Like most regional towns there is a wealth of historic information spread about the town in little plaques and tourist notes as well as small art exhibits in unexpected places.
Of course no post I make about going somewhere and having a meal would be complete without the obligatory food pictures; yes breakfast was delicious!
The next couple of days are hopefully quieter and let us catch our breath after what feels like quite a busy week. Monday will see me catching the train down to Bendigo to pick up our repaired Emily (the station wagon) with her fresh brakes, rotors and apparently bolts put into the additional steering that was installed after manufacture but apparently only partly finished; which rather explains her tendency to pull.
Then it is back to work on the Castle, bit by bit getting it clean, tidy and preparing for future use.
