Entry Penned Beginning

It has been 6 months since I posted here, a whole half a year. Getting posting again is hard, I have had the urge to every few weeks but little barriers began to feel like big ones until finally the whole idea seemed too much.
So much has changed and there have been so many different things as we have settled in at what we have affectionately referred to as the Castle. The seasons have changed, we have had any number of the sort of problems you get from an old house crop up on us.
I had considered doing a whole summary post, refer to my journals and try to catch up on the last six months, but that is just making another barrier to me writing.
Sometimes the best way forward is to simply do, and so I am here in an airbnb in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, remoting on to my PC back at the castle through an ancient Chromebook so that I can get this site logged back in and just post.
I am hoping this breaks down that barrier and I can get back to posting regularly, even if it is just small posts. There have been so many things I have wanted to share, simply to open that connection again to folks.
So fingers crossed 🙂
